Pioneer CD-IB100 ipod interface

I have an Ipod Nano connected to my Pioneer Avic x1r unit through the above interface, but the head unit keeps pausing and stopping by itself.

seems to be happening more regularly now

I know some of you guys have pioneer units with the same interface, but has anybody else had this same problem.

Also my head unit displays about 6 characters of the song title etc.

ok, now its taking the biscuit. It's stopping more often than its working. need to get hold of another ipod to check if its just my Nano thats jiggered
