    Default Obvious Wheel Cleaning Tip

Washed my car yesterday, and something pretty damn obvious occurred to me when cleaning my wheels.
(16-spokers can be a swine to clean)

When rinsing the wheels before washing the car, use a wheel brush at the same time to remove all the dirt and grime. Then when you shampoo and rinse there will be no dirt left on the wheels after rinsing. Nothing worse than having dirty marks left on your alloys after the final rinse.

For Stevel, piccies of a clean Edition100, there is more than one on Merseyside:- (sorry - Camera Phone)

    Thanks Steve, and Glenboy too.

The results of a simple 'rinse-shampoo-rinse-chamois wipe-and buff with a microfibre' can be really quite satisfying especially in sunlight. Had to take pics with my phone as the batteries (and the spares) in my digital camera were dead

A good claying/waxing is next when the weather warms up

Looks great John, agree on the wheels being a pain in the arse, but as already said they look the best when clean IMO.

Thanks Mark. It's very satisfying when those wheels look their best. It's the car's most striking feature visually.

Couldn't agree more, noticed since I cleaned mine a lot of other vectra drivers checking the wheels out.
