    Default New Pad Time

I need to replace my front pads on my Vectra (as in my siggy) and Vx want a silly amount for them + the price of the sensor.

Now i fancy a slight upgrade and will prob get some EBC Greenstuff jobbies as there dosen't seem much to chose from.

The website i'm going to order them from is listing two part numbers for my car....

Can anyone shed any light on the ones i'd need?

    http://www.ebcbrakesdirect.com/defau...&v1=car&t1=pad

    DP21414

    or

    DP21416

    Thanks in advance

i think this is tied in to the 302mm/314mm switchover.. so if you know what your VIN number is it will tell you..but my hunch is you'll need the later pads..

It's a 3.0CDTi though Mark. I though they came with 314mm kit from the start?

Bu**er me, so they did! 3.0 introduced in 2004 with 302mm brakes, same as the 3.2. Both changed to 314mm in 2005. I hadn't realised it was so late with even the 3.2, thought it was just really early 3.2s that had the 302mm.

Yeah, that's what I was wondering. I knew yours had 314 but was a 2004. As you say, they must've started fitting them to later 04 models.
