right.. so is what he saying is that the brake hoses are bulging?.. this wouldn't be caused by the 314mm kit, just by poor hoses..but i wouldn't expect that on on 07 plated car..

    Default hi

he is saying they do bulge but its the vvv spongy brake pedal got me worried he as bleed the brakes and no air there he is a good mechanic used him for years ex merc trained and been set up on own 10yrs hope the goodridge brakes hoses work ? maybe he nicked 1 off the old ones? also as any 1 else had to trim the back bracket to enable the fit? not sure off name but its behind the disk maybe dust cover?

the cover is the lower ball joint dust sheild..trim it.. it's no big worry.

the spongy brake pedal....worth a look ( he wouldn't be the first guy to fit them upside down) to check the brake bleed nipple is upwards....did he pressure/vacumn bleed the brakes or pump the brakepedal..???..

The goodridge hoses are good quality but won't make the pedal 'that' much firmer..if the pedal is soft then it's more fundamental than the hoses unless they have got a huge blister on them..

nope.. not if it's modified life's not....

if the calipers are the right way up, and the hoses are okay then it only leaves the master cylinder..TBH my money is on the calipers being upside down..
