Not been around

I've not been around so much the past week or so.
What with possibly losing my job and looking about for a new one.
I'm having some great day's and some really crap day's at the moment.
I feel like just getting on a plane out of here.
I'm doing about 14hrs a day at the moment cos the project I've inherited here is a complete and i mean complete mess.

I think to myself do i work my ass off and get this job done and then they will fire me or do i just say balls to it and let it ride until i get fired.

In my heart i can not sit back and let it get further into a mess.
But my head is saying to me i just need to give in.

So I'm just all messed up at the moment so forgive me.

Blimey Shan !!!!! i know how you feel i was in a similar boat a few years ago pulled my tripe out for about 15 hours a day for little reward ,didn't know what the future held and to be honest it was the fact that i was doing a ****** good job that made it bearable, so i would say stick with it do the job right and as good as can be so at least if the worste happens you can hold your head high as i know you would feel guilty if you just packed it in ...............................What you need is a big vectra-c

no mate, you stick at it and do that job good then you if you do get finished you can walk out with your head held high and know its their loss not yours.

keep the chin up and dont let the b*ggers get the better of you

i was made redundent a few years back and it seemed the end of the world but now in a better job, double the money and with better time off, sometimes these things work out for the best...really hope they do for you

i know how you feel shan i was in the same position about five years ago,
i did work for them ,and ended up going anyway, but have moved on to better things now and would never go back there if they paid double!!!!
the best way to look at it is move onto bigger and better things IF they do pay you off,and see it as there loss rather than yours

Cheers Guy's i just had to get it off my chest.
Only 13 1/2 hrs today but i have achieved a hell of a lot today.
I'm not the type of person to give in. but my brain Say's give up and i just battle it.
I have even forced myself not to hit the drink like i would have maybe a year ago. LOL
The office have woken up a little bit today and are sending guy's i know that i can trust to help me out here.

On the job front I've had 3 people interested in my service's since Friday when i updated my CV and sent it out. Lets hope things look up.
I don't want to quit this job as i love it.
but i think what they are doing right now is so that i do quit. But they will not get one over on me.
