    Default Exhaust

Ok... I will most likely be getting my exhaust done at the end of this month, i will be getting it from ebay but as i have a diesel, do i get with or without baffles? I want sporty sound but a fair bit of noise. It will be a 2.5 inch twin box which i will be increasing the rest of the system to later this year and removing the middle box and adding a de-cat.

    So with or without?

Why not come along to the MIJ performance meeting on the 16th. They are offering a group buy day and can do a twin exit for £355.

Not sure about the de-cat though, dont you need a cat to pass an MOT?

I would but trying to save a few pennies with a baby on the way. Diesels dont really need the cat as they have a particle test (And my good mate also works in my local garage )

not sure of power gain i'm affraid, but there is no real difference until you press the faster pedal to the floor.........and then there is a loovly deep spory sound for all to hear, all boxes removed and a de-cat will make the turbo spooling down whistle loud, ok to start with and a big grin, then it get's somewhat iritating

Lol definatly removing that center box and decat, but will keep the rear boxes, If it gets annoying as you descibed it will then i guess ill have to put the box back of get one built.

What will an increase in bore do for performance It will be increased from downpipe back?
