paint warrenty

just noticed when cleaning the beast that in the paint work they are millions of little white spots - it's not the metallic flakes but actual spots of silvery white bits

do vx have a paintwork warrenty ?

and has anyone else noticed it?

Yep, I have little marks under the laquer on the roof, you can see them more after a good polish, I would doubt the warranty would cover it tho.

body should have 6yrs warranty,bumpers ie plastics only have 1yr as i found out when paint started flaking off my bumper.kick up a stink it should work

Any paintwork warranty is 12 months. If you think it's a warranty issue, get it looked at ASAP if it's inside the first 12 months.

The 6 years is the anti-perforation warranty i.e the metalwork. It's 1 year for paint and trim.

i concur with duncan. I was pee'd when my chrome door trims went all 'oily' in year 2. ended up doing a split cost deal with vauxhall. To me it stinks. Its saying that they really only have faith in their paintwork for 12 months and dont trust it after that!!!... not very reassuring is it?
