Default HID Kit - Where to buy?

Hi, looking for a HID kit for my 2005 Veccy SRi Estate 1.9 CDTi. Standard lights are so shockingly bad.

Ideally one where I don't have to chop into the wiring loom.

Seen a few kits on here where people have fitted them but can't see where they got them from?

    Cheers!

Green Growler, Leeds Vectra and Matty H are the ones to ask. They've fitted them, but they seem to be having lots of problems getting them to work. If you haven't seen this thread, it's the one that covers their experience in detail so far. I thought it mentioned where they, or at least some of them, got them from?

I've just simply changed the bulbs mate. There's a few on the market now that are a lot brighter than the standard Vx bulbs.

Obviously they're not a patch on the HID kits, but a lot cheaper and without the teething troubles

I'm sure the guys will get the HID kits sorting though if you're prepared to wait.

Halfords do good quality replacement bulbs that are legal for road use. Look for a bulb with a high K factor 6500k is good. Vx standard bulbs are 2500k, beware of coated bulbs for sale on e-bay, not always what they say they are, I bought some and they were rubbish. Went to halfords and bought some of their top spec bulbs, about £20, well worth it lights much better.
