    Default 1.8 VVTi revs

It`s time to ask the experts again My dad`s got as above and has just asked what could be causing his revs to hold where they are for a second or so when he dips the clutch to change gear. They`re not dropping straight away when he releases the go pedal.Any ideas??? Is this normal???Seem to remember my mates vec b doing it but nore sure.

    Cheers
    Neal

I've been told that it's the way that 'variable valve timing' works.Ok when the revs are going up,but not so good when they're coming back down.
