Foreign Specifications

Basically I've driven Vectra C hire cars all over Europe and noticed how much GM change the spec's very slightly on the Vectra across the countries within the EU. For example, this week I was in Bulgaria and had a Vectra Life but this one didn't have an Ultra-sonic alarm or cruise control. Yet it had the "full-blown" trip computer

So there fore i'm going to lay down the gauntlet and see who can find a Vectra 1.8 Life(or equivelent base model) that is sold anywhere in the world and it is standard from the factory with no optional extras, yet has more goodies than the Vectra Life 1.8 that we have to put with here back in Blighty.

Hmmm most European models are low on spec and more things are available as options but the spec changes according to climate and economy of the country. However doing a quick browse of the opel sites in and around Europe has revealed that the the base model in Norway is the Elegance Model which has more goodies.

I seen a 54 plate pre facelift taxi today with a strange badge on the side which looked like and E or a G which i've never seen before. It had an Sri front bumper clear side repeaters Sri rear clusters but no lip spoiler and structure wheels. anyone know what model that is?

That was the Vectra Active, or something like that, Vauxhall fitted an SRi front bumper, SRi dark style front and rear lights and velour interior and it was available in that nice mettalic blue. (Not Arden)
