I will be the owner of a 3.0 V6 diesel in a matter of a week or two, just haven't made my mind up on whether it'll be a Vectra Estate or a Signum....I have 3 Springers so before you ask!...............

I drove a V6 diesel Elite hatch with an auto box recently and thought it drove really well, and as i have a Laguna 1.9dci which has to go, the dye was cast so to speak, really was chalk and cheese and I cursed the Laguna when I had to give the Vectra back......very nice.

I currently run a TD Performance box on my Laguna and it has increased the economy from 49 to 55mpg with a reasonably healthy increase in torque, still have to rev the thing to get it moving though as it 'aint endowed with much low down torque. If any of you guys can give me an insight into fitting a box on the V6 I would appreciate it, more from an economy point of view as I drive approx 30,000 miles a year, also are these suitable for an 'auto'?

One more question you may be able to help with relates to the ride quality of the Signum Design as it has 'sports suspension', my last Vauxhall with that on was a 2.2dti SRI (51 plate) and that was a bit harsh!

about a tunit box you have couple of options

1/ ABYSS he has start up selling boxes
2/ Diagnostix (mike he is a really nice man)

you will find them both on here

i get 41mpg @ 70 mph not bad 3.0 V6 sri cdti

Hi there mate welcome to the gang.

The signum is a great car but for the dogs you may be better off with the estate. more room and you can get all sorts of nifty dividers for the boot using the flex system.

you cant go wrong with either choice over the laguna so no worries there though.
