    Thumbs up Flat blade wipers

Just to let yous know( if yous don't already) i've just upgraded my wipers to valeo flat blade type (front), and they are alot better than the standard on the vec and really easy to fit, should be available at your local motor factors or they should be able to order, got mine at cost price of about £21 so your lookin about £30. But well worth the upgrade when its wiper renewel time as your prob lookin £15-20 for standard......

I've got some Valeo flatblades for my Vectra and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. No matter which of the traditional brands I've tried, they've always juddered/smeared etc.

I got them off here http://www.wiperblades.co.uk/ for about £25. Excellent service too.

I got my flatblades from VX dealer it been manufactured by Valeo.

Some improvements over old ones. It is more quite at speed and works slightly better (maybe because it is new ).

Main issue I got with old style blades was the Bosh blades – died on me in Germany during 95 mpg coursing on motorway (blade got loose and bangs on the side).

However word of advise – the adapter on Valeo’s blades made from plastic – check it before you buy – the first box the dealer had broken one. So I guess this design is not immune either (blades are indestructible but plastic adapter can play out).

    But still worthy upgrade.
