    Question Air Box MODs

    So far I have tried:

    A) K&N panel filter in a standard box

    B) RIP SPEED steel mesh cone filter with and without an enclosing box

    C) K&N panel filter with a modified standard box to add another cold air feed

I've found the latter to be the best so far (C), what have other people tried and what results did you get?

Paul (vectra 2.0T) tried a K&N induction kit and then a K&N Panel Filter on his car and found the Panel Filter was the best option.

I'm currently running with the Airbox Mod, K&N Panel Filter and Powerflow Cat Back (not forgetting the tuning box). I'm more than happy with the drive

Default Did you find that the exhaust made a difference?

I was just going to get the centre box removed and a striaght through pipe to the standard back box fitted.

The irmscher exhaust is a cosmetic improvement, if you want some power at the same time then powerflow is the way to go. I was quoted £350 for a cat back with Quad pipes, that included cutting the rear skirt as well ...
