I'm off to see this place on saturday just to have a look and a chill out on the drive of 1 1/2 hrs.
I'm not a plane spotter but just interested to see the sight.

Bring me back an F16, if they've got one.

"There are over 4,000 planes in storage, most now from the Vietnam era"
That's cos anything newer is now flying over Iraq.
Should be a good day out Shan, god I envy that job of yours, right now I'd love an excuse to get on a plane to go to work.
don't forget your wee black book shan to write all the reg's down (spotter)
only joking mate have fun take some pics as i am a bit of a spotter myself, but don't tell anyone
Been there, done that a couple of years ago. A really interesting place and I have no interest in planes at all generally. Afterwards, if you get time, the best place outside of the 'downtown' area for a beer is called 'Famous Sam's'. It's on the corner of Kolb and GolfLinks, just a couple of miles from the base. Well cool...still got the T-shirt !!
Looks a good day out Shan? Perhaps see if there's any jobs fixing all them????? :-)
