    Default Kids Car Seat

There have been a few threads on this topic, and having pretty much made my mind up what I was going to get, I got to the shop and bought something totally different!

My little one is 16KG and very tall, and has grown out of her old seat because she is too long. Her head is poking above it!

I was going to get the Jane Indy Plus, which a few guys on here have, or the Britax 2-3 Isofit.

Anyhow at the shop I spy the newly released Recaro Monza Seatfix.

    http://www.recaro.com/index.php?id=5262&region=5&L=2

Much better quality than the other two and I read a product review on the seat that gave it a very good write up.

So £120 later, job done. Well what price your little ones safety?

Amongst many good features, are speakers built into the headrest of the chair so when the Balamory DVD is on for the 10th time on the trip to Granmas' only the little one will be able to hear it...Great

If your in the market for a 15KG-36KG seat/Group II-III, I would recommend it, a great quality seat, very well made, nicely finished with some good features and a good safety rating, as I suppose you would expect from Recaro.

I have 2 Britax Cruiser's if anyone is looking for car seats £10 each, no accident damage but they do need a freshen up as they've been in the garage for the last couple of years, cost £65 each new iirc, this will have to be a personal collect or post, which you will have to meet the cost of on top, I will do pictures if there is any interest before anyone sends money.

The Jane indy plus dosent get good crash rating on the Which reports so you done well not to get that, as for the Recaro being better quality than the Britax it hasnt been tested by Which and the Britax 2-3 Isofit comes top in the latest crash tests, it does look very similar tho as it has good head protection because the rests are close to the head
