    Default Goodyear F1 Gsd3

I thought that I would let you know what a good deal I have had off Blackcircles.com on 2 new Goodyear F1 GSD3 225/45/17.
They were fitted at Tarporley Garage and they swapped front to back etc all for £179.50 all at.
I shopped around everywhere and this was the bext price.
    Highly reccommend

That looks like the price for the bog standard F1 GSD3's. Sure I've seen it mentioned on here that the F1 GSD3 XL's should be fitted when I asked about tyre's a little while ago.

you only need XL's if you've got the 3ltr diesel..all the rest of the range can run happily on the normal load rating

, dont need the XL with anything under 3.0l. Not a bad deal tho mate, just put on 4 of these on last month, £276 for 4 from camskill and my local garage fitted and balanced em all for £25, bargain!! They are a good tyre tho dont u think, dry performance has been superb

Thanks. I'm still undecided on getting F1 GSD3's or the Bridgestone ER30's. Had ER30's fitted to my previous 2004 Vectra (before I writ it off) and they were much better than the current Goodyear NCT5's that are fitted to my 2006 Elite.

if you haven't tried them, the GSD3's are far far better than the NCT5's..

NCT5's keep the car off the floor...nothing else...shocking grip..

GSD3's are a development of the mighty Eagle F1 and stick like a sticky thing from stickysville..an awesome rain tyre too...

Managed to get the same deal here, bargain for the tyres and a wee bit of cash in a mates hand for fitting them, sorted

Have only pushed mine in the wet so far and they have stuck peferectly and even when the slide there predictable, no sudden loss of grip.

Does it matter that they aren't 91W's speed and weigh rating? The only ones I ever see when searching are Y rated, or 94.

When I spoke to a tyre garage recently, they said that if 91W's are currently fitted, then that's what be what I should be replacing them with.
