    Angry why are orange so incompetent

    it all started in november when i went to upgrade my phone as my other one was knackerd and was coming to the end of my old contract.

    2 months later i noticed they hadnt changed my contract to one which was lower in value. after ringing up they said they couldnt see any notes on my file to say i had upgraded so i went to the shop a bit angry. next the manager sa me and said he would fax of a letter saying i had upgraded and the upgrade slip which i had signed etc.

    this month bill came through and didnt open it, was having trouble with my phone so rang up and they said it was faulty but didnt have my phone in stock and offered my another one but a lower model so said no thanks. went to the shop again and they sorted it there but had to completly reset all my phone. that got me thinking that i shouldnt have the insurance so checked today and i have still got it on. i made sure when i upgraded that i would not have insurance and got the declined tick in the right box.

    now i rang up today and said it shouldnt be on there and he said oh ok will cancel it for you but i said i wanted since novemeber refunded since that is when it should have been cancelled. he said we cant do that as you made a claim, and said i had had a new sim card which i had. my mrs dropped it in my car under the air bag module under the front seat so i couldnt get to it. wrang up and asked for a new one, but i explicitly said not to go through insurance etc and said i hadnt got orange care. he said that it would cost me £15 for the sim card now

    all i wanted was to be charged right, i pay them every month on time by DD and all i have had with them for the past 3 or 4 months is problems. waiting for his manager to phone back so lets see what she has to say.

    I have to agree with you, I have been with orange for six years and its rare I need their help but when i do their ****e.

    Ring Ofcom mate and report it to them within a day or two a manager from orange will ring and offer you everything you want and more!

    well i made a complaint about them before to the head office cant remember what for now but have rang them quite a few times. at least the call centers are back in england. been with them since 2005 but dont think ill be staying with them again
