Default Somebody stop me! New brakes!

    Hi all,

managed to get the new brakes on tonight, 314mm ones from the gsi, all parts sourced from Vauxhall.

    Here are some pics:

    The comparison of size:

All done (I know the wheels need cleaning and the locking bolt was to go on - I hadn't forgot!)

    As always, comments welcome!

    Looking good.

As Vid said, you have to have the new carriers too to fit the calipers - no go otherwise.

Haven't paid for them yet! My mate has, will be settling the bill tomorrow! Along with the bits and pieces for my inlet manifold

Approximate costs are : the calipers are around £78 ish each, the carriers are about £55-£60 quid each, and the discs and pads are about £60 ish as a kit (might be less)?

I don't want tomorrow to come!!!

Haven't braked hard enough to notice a difference yet, letting everything bed in for the first 500 miles or so - treating her gently!
