    Default Smelly washer bottle

    As above smells like rotten eggs when i spray the screen

    any advice please?

    can you clean it out on the car or do you need to take the bottle out. if so how do you get the bottle out.
    whats the best thing to use to clean the bottle out please

    I had the same problem, a few minutes with the hose pipe pushed down the neck of the bottle sorted it, and a change of screen wash as already mentioned

    use ready to use screenwash, just pour into the washer bottle, doesnt freeze and smells of vodka

    Doesn't taste like it but not bad,I've had worse

    Stop using Halfords concentrated screen wash, (specially the yellow stuff) it smells of cat pee

    use the ready mixed stuff, much better and 3 for 2 at the mo

    Did this to mine about a month ago, empty the bottle (by sitting with your hand on the stalk til all the water has squirted out through your washer jets ), thenpour in a cup of 'MILTON' baby sterilising fluid and top up with water, no screen wash additive. Just use that as normal until you need to top up again, then start with the screen wash again. Smell completely gone

    Or Sterident tabs work like this as well, plop 2 in a full topped up bottle, leave it to fizz and work for a few minutes, then give it a coulpe of long squirts and top up again, leave for a day and squirt the lot though and top up with fresh water to flush out any residue.
