    Default Resetting the ECU

    If fit a K&N panel filter do i need to reset the ECU for better performance

    it will help the ECU and air flow meter adapt quicker..

    disconnecting the battery for a period of about 5 mins to reset all the ECU settings to factory defaults..

    should stay stored....if not just reprogram the set..

    I didn't think changing an air filter had anything to do with the ECU.

    it changes the air flow meter readings a bit as the K+N is free'er flowing..

    it won't harm it Tam.. it'll just want a bit longer to get the fuelling 100% again.
