I have been to Nobles for many Dyno days & personel Power runs, So have my friends, They are very good & edge on the side of conserative. Unlike Dyno days you could not view the power runs, You had to wait in the waiting room which is dissapointing.

The other closest to you is probably Scooby Clinic, But they tend to be on the Optimistic & pull there faces at anything other than a Scoob !!

I would use them again & again.

    Let us know your results

Don't like the thought of them locking you out whilst they do it!

If you go let me know

Well i got as far as the 2nd post & saw the words Powerstation, Now they are optimistic, If you want Pub talk up Power, Use them, I have in my days used many rolling roads & always settled at Nobles, After many thousands of pounds, My 1994 UK Scoob, came out at 334 Bhp & 330 Ft'lb's, It was a very impressive drive both on Handling & sheer power, I always regret selling Elanor !:

Sorry to ruin your day but I got quite excited when I saw them-they're only 20 mins away! But I'd not be happy not seeing what they're doing! I found a number in Leic I posted earlier

I'm sure I read somewhere that they do work on engines for Noble sports cars that are built in our village.

I can understand about not being allowed near your car when testing.

I spoke to a local company at the end of last year that specialise in building race engines. They have a rolling road & they do not allow anyone near or around the car when testing. You have to be outside the unit to the side.
This is also to do with their insurance, anything could be thrown from the wheels, etc when testing.

But they are a specialist race engine / dyno company, not just a place that has installed a rolling road & suddenly decided they can be experts at rolling road tuning

You are right Ian on the engine build front, They also build engines for Caterham.

Not ruined at all. I have seen many cars figures from Powerstation & they are high, The same cars have then run else where & achieved a lower more realistic figure, But the owners were not happy, Wondering where their power has gone !!!

It's all down to the Dyno's calibration, They can all be made to give you any figure you want. Although i would rather have as near to the truth as possible, It makes sense also to stick to the same rolling road, Then you can see & compare runs Etc & make sure your going on the right direction.

    All the best.
