Interior lights

righty, changed all the push fit bulbs in the car so to take some of the yellowness out of the car, gone for blue as matches stereo lighting.

BUT

I have one of these autodimming mirrors which has an annoying orange glow ommitting once it gets dark. Is it a bulb or an LED?? and how do I get into the mirror to change it??

It's an LED, or to be exact an SMD (Surface Mounted Diode). Can't recall how to get into the housing - never done it myself - and it's a soldering iron job to replace it.

No probs - and I'm sure there'd be a few members who would swap you their non-orangey glow mirror for yours! lol I take it you don't like the feature?

I didn't realise how much I liked it until my mirror went faulty and the light didn't work - until it was replaced.

Its one of those features you dont realise how much difference it makes till its gone.

If I was to change it, I'd put a red LED in though, blue might make the inside feel cold.
