    confused 15 bhp octane boost

    has anybody used any of this gear sounds a bit to good to be truehttp://stores.ebay.co.uk/Celox-Performance

    The old saying stands true....if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is....

    Judging by the rest of their stuff, £6.50 tuning boxes etc, I'd have to say that you'd be better off with a bottle of Redex or Miller's....

    It's not for diesels? It's an octane booster, a fuel additive to raise the octane level. You can by these from halfords and it will improve performance. You need a Cetane booster for diesels, like Millers 4 Sport.

    Millers 4 makes a nice smooth difference IMO

    seen a programme where they tested all those additives to see which one offers best power increase etc out of all tested none gave any gains in power in fact some made the car lose power

    I've put a couple of bottles of Miller Sport 4 through mine and TBH I cant tell any difference. It seems to work well in some cars and not others.

    and also you gotta think what some of these additives could do to your fuel pump,seals and so on. I guess there's a reason Vx say not to use fuel or oil additives.

    Millers is a pump lubricant, which is why I use it. Vx also try to break cars on a regular basis, sell cars which decide to go for walks by them selves and charge you more than a night at the Ritz for the pleasure of finding out what's wrong with your car, let alone fixing it.
