    Default Vec-C Website

    Hi all,
was reading a couple of old posts the other day and came across the suggestion of a website to accompany the forums.
at the time it was posted that it was an idea for the future... but as of yet nothing has come to light....

    so i got busy

    check it out here

it's only in it's first stages, so there's no content, but it will give you an idea of what it could look like.
i'm constantly working on it and would just like your opinions as to whether it should be carried on or just forgotten about and filed under B1N.

(i need to adjust the viewing formats, so if your viewing in 800x600 res then it will look odd.
    anything above should be fine.)

you need to make it Dynamic, so what ever res someone is viewing it in they don't have to scroll across. Like the forum software mate.

It's looking really good. The admin guys don't have much time to sort the front page out, so they may task you with a project for a favour (if you see what I mean) ;-)

yup, i know matey... just totally forgot about the viewing probs until i got into work and tried it (where they use a different res)

as for dynamic... the backend (admin side) is all PHP and MySql run.
so adding site content is as easy as posting on this forum
(just for those admin reading this)

i thought it could also help out a bit on the bandwidth issues as i could host the website on a different server, and then take the gallery over to the site where i could setup a proper photo gallery so each user has their own page for photo's etc.

any input, or features you would like?

yes i've always liked them, so ithought i'd include one.
there's a bug with it at the moment, where if you refresh the page it will try posting the message again. so i gotta sort that out.

we do indeed need a front page. Weve been looking at a few off the shelf templates but as yet no descians have been made. I'll have a word with the admin team about how we go about it and what we want etc and get some dialogue going.

    not a problem...
don't feel obliged to use it by any means. i'd prob just change the colou scheme and logo and use it myself if you didn't need it. lol
