    Default draining the water

    im looking to change the water in the car

    just a quick one

    where is the best place to drain the water from the rad

    lower coolant hose on the radiator..spring the clip off,remove the hose, drain, and replace the hose and clip...

    ...or if you can't be arsed pulling off clips and hoses, just turn the drain tap that's behind the rad on the driver's side.

    Didn't drain? It was definitely the right thing you were turning?

    Did you remove the coolant tank cap to allow air in and the coolant to flow?

    Yeah, it just turns 90 degrees, but what I was meaning was that you'll need to remove the coolant header tank cap in the engine bay to let the coolant flow out properly.
