Well done mate. I just switched on in anticipation and here was your post. Looks like it all went on easy, did you have the 120 OR 100 alternator, looks like the 100 as you didn't have to mod the manifold. Looks like you've just sighed back on so how was he blast down the bypass?

Hi guys! It feels stronger top end, pulls well all the way to the limit. It hasn't blown my socks off, but I have only done about 6 miles in it, and not had chance to push it too hard - ecu is probably still settling down!

Rushy, I did indeed have the 100 amp alternator, made my day!!! The only difference on the vec c's to the other z22se engines that I found was that the one way valve with the take off for the fpr, is not needed! There is no fpr to connect the pipe to, on mine there wasn't anyway!

When I have had chance to give it a proper test, I will let you know the overall results. I also replaced the intake scoop with one from the diesel vec as it is shorter too, not sure what difference that has made, probably very little, but every little helps!!

And just to prove the alternator was a 100amp...

So thats exactly what your doing, inlet manifold and zorst manifold. +35bhp Been spending the last 3 hours trawling 40 odd pages of posts regarding this mod. Thats a bad sigh, for my wallet that is.

Just looked at your profile and it says your car is 2002 which would make it non direct. So whats been the total cost of this project so far then. I am thinking about getting a 2.2sri non direct and wondered what the best mods were.
