We've had a few cheapies in the past and they haven't lasted as long as the karcher ones.. Also you can get Karcher spares off the shelf in places like Halfords and on ebay..

i got the karcher k235db from argos was around 60 quid at time had brush etc was pretty good. After about 6 months noticed it was leaking a little amount of oil, so phoned karcher they then said to send them a letter & include the silver sticker on unit, which i did and within a week sent a replacement, they didnt even want to see the old unit as its not worth the hassle at that price for them.(might be worth a try for anyone, give em a call nothing to loose,)

and the old one is still going well(the new one is the hot spare)

so there customer service is good to

As above - Karcher for me. Bought a high-spec one years ago, cost around £200, but it's one of the higher powered ones - great for doing paths etc. Obviously I don't use the high power bit on the car! lol It's lasted years so far so I can't complain.

Only thing I had go 'wrong' with it was the handle/trigger assembly that the attachments go into was playing up, so I contacted Karcher. They sent me a brand new handle, didn't want to see the old one, so good customer service too.
