Rattling noise from rear?

I seem to have a rattling noise from the back of my car and i'm not sure what it is. Has anyone got any ideas?

Quite possibly the boot catch? Have a search for tailgate and you should bring up some threads on it, and how you adjust the plate to get rid of it.

Oh, BTW Andy - if you can't get it sorted then I could give you a hand sometime before/after Christmas when I'm up. I fixed a tailgate rattle on my Signum, as well as Graeme's Vec - so have experience of both. It's not a difficult thing to do, but you sometimes have to move the plate in the opposite direction to what you think, and it can get a bit frustrating after a while!!

well i had a bit of a look this morning at it not to sure on how to do this and dont want to mess things up with it lol (thats what normaly happens) so if you wouldnt mind giving me a hand with it next time your up it would be much appreciated.

I had mine in to VX a couple of months ago which they sorted by
(they said)adjusting the rubber stoppers and the catch.Anyway its started again, so i thought i would have a go myself.But the screws on the catch are a special kind and i cant loosen them.In fact it doesn't look like they have been moved since the car was built, going off the markings.So i've adjusted the rubber stoppers again,hope this sorts it.
