    confused front end swap - how easy???

    hi every one, i've got an 04 estate, only had it about 6 months. ex company car, hi miles but vgc etc. a mate of mine has just bought a lovely 07 reg sri, and i'm wondering this;
    i know the vec aint got long til its replaced, but has anyone done a front end swap as my pre facelift looks tired and dated next to my mate's one. i would love to know if this is a straight forward job like upgrading the mk3 escort to a mk4 etc....can anyone advise me? has anyone tried or thinking of it? i'm planning on keeping it a couple more years so if its possible i'd like to do this, regards all, mike

    Yup, a few have done this now
    Front wings, bonnet, grille, bumper, slam panel and i think that's about it. Most are bolt ons and can be done for around a grand so i'm lead to believe
