Good figures there from the both of you.

Are you going to tell us the exact figures or do we have to work it out ourselves??

These are the figures from the roalling road by Chris that he was thinking of using. We ran both cars, mine running on a water/methanol/butane/propane/diesel/air mix

The rolling road was producing constant repatable figures, though it doesn't calculate the same way as most others.

The rollers calculate road wheel power, with no adjustment for temp or pressure. So what you get is not quite so comparitable to other roads but they should be exact figures for that day in that place. In Winter their figures will be higher than summer, where as other roads should give simular figures all year round due to compensating for temp and pressure.

I will go to Red Dot again with my current setup (yep, I changed it again) and see what there rollers say by comparisum. The rollers even picked up on the difference in tyre size though, Chris having 225-40/18 to my 215/50-17 (only 30mm diffrence in circumfrance) showing a 3kmph difference at 5200rpm.

I may have over done the Butane on the day.... but it seems to have recovered.... I hope...

Good stuff. From the first graph it looks like chrisg is getting around 220 bhp
and nutron is getting about 245 bhp
Well done to both, wouldn't have believed it for a 1.9 if I didn't see this for myself.
    Quite amazing.

I'm not jumping up and down yet, but I've been pushing 230 and have change the setup... Also as I say, this road doesn't adjust for the environment so the colder air at this time of year would mean higher than standardized figures.

The squiggly line under the other two is my attempt to blow up the garage along with my car... Nuf said.

    Nah.

I was using it for the run that max out the plotter, I just went overboard when I tried to do it manually. I've set it up properly now and the small butane/propane can is in the batter box out of the way. So it all now runs on the microswitch, with an overide off switch on the dash.

Been out in it today for several hours and it's running fine, just a bit of oil to clean up from the scare yeasterday. Won't be playing with it anymore though, that it, it stays as it is.

    I've got some pics too...
