    Default fitting chrome door mirror covers

    can anyone do a how to for removing the old colour co door mirror covers and
    replacing them with the irmy chrome covers.i know one or two of you guys have them.would like to fit some but don't want to damage anything trying to fit/remove.

    ive fitted them to both my C's and have cream crackered both sets of orginal mirrors getting them off. basically i used teh brute force method and prised them off, which snaps the lugs that hold them on.

    In hindsight, it might be possible to prise the mirror glass out of its ball joint giving access to the lugs which youcan then push out. Im not sure if this may break the mirror glass

    You just prise the glass (which is mounted on a plastic backing) off the ball joint behind it, then disconnect wiring for heated glass. Then you can see the lugs that holds the covers in place.
