    Default Engine bay?

    Hey peeps what products do you use and how do you use them when cleaning the engine bay is it ok to blast it with the pressure washer and is there parts that should be coverd whilst cleaning it?

    did mine last summer........so long ago.


    Cover obvious electrical components with cling film double wrapped. Gave the engine bay a low pressure wetting, then sprayed on some stardrops diluted. Used a paint brush to loosen stubborn marks. Wash down carefully with another low pressure hose.

    Allow to drip dry with the bonnet open ( or use a old microfibre cloth)

    Remove all clingfilm.....

    Spray black plastic with WD40 or back to black and admire.

    stupid comments on there but it does work if careful

    If you are careful with the water there shouldn't be any problem.
