    Default VV The Early Years

This is a £100 bucket I bought and ran for 6 mths until the tax and mot had almost expired, sold it for £160, result.

This was my 1st non wreck that bought, I gave £550 for it iirc, sadly a frog mobile 5 decided to join the dual carraigway in the outside lane without looking.

This one didn't belong to me, but as you can see it was mint, until my mate also wrecked it.

Another shot of the Cap'ri Ghia

Peach, all this was originally was a 1.3L that was traded in faded, the car was resprayed Electric Blue but whitened down a shade or two.

And finally a rear shot, check out the pipes and the side reflection of my then girlfriend with her arms crossed because the car was getting more attention from me, some things never change eh.

That one was a very rare 4 door model, but even back then an old car used to cost £250 they didn't depreciate like they do now, plus it had 6 mths tax on it at the time.

The last Ford I owned before going owner driver on the cabs was a 2.8iS Granada Mk2, at the time I was tossing up a Sierra or a Cavalier, the Cavalier won the day because I believed it would be more economic than the Sierra and for a 1.6 had more legs in it than the Ford, I kept the Cav for 18 mths and was going to buy a Nissan Bluebird diesel, but although I was offered a really good deal on the Nissan I decided against it because the gearbox had something wrong with it, they did offer to repair it as part of the deal, then along came the exceptionally then handsome 405, so I was now faced with Cavalier MK3 or the Pug, I was so smitted with the Pug and it's smart handling and comfy seats I went for one brand new, and thats where it all went wrong, in out,in out of the dealer it went virtually every 14 days and I got shot of it after 2 yrs of hell, back to Cav's again, ultra reliable, then on to Omega and Vectra's, then I had the smash last year and fancied a change, so I bought the Passat Limo LTD and am now rueing the day I set eyes on it, which in itself is the explanation, every time I leave VX I get a dog and a car that I know just doesn't hold upagainst a VX.
