Default Family holiday and wedding in one - advice please

Ok, we've been together for 14 years now and have two little ones (4 and 6mths by the time we go away). We've been talking about getting married for a year or so now and this year will be our 15th aniversary together so we are looking at tieing the knot on our aniversary day (1st June).
As we have never really travelled much we have no idea of great family places to go that would also be suitable for a very small local wedding. So looking for ideas really.
    The criteria are:
    1. Must be a family orientated place (not to fussed about kids clubs etc)
    2. Must be able to cater for a v. small wedding (us four and maybe another 4)
    3. Must be around 4 hours flight time. The good lady isn't up for an exotic destination with exotic flight times.
Have tired a couple of travel agents now and they must be on commision as they see it as being a fairly extensive piece of work to find out the detail so fob us off.
    Any advice/guidance/direction appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Andy and Nicky

    Cyprus?

The hotel we stayed in had three or four a day. Nice Chapple in front of the grounds and the tables were set out on the veranda.

I got married in Vegas a couple of years ago. It was fantastic. Booked the wedding at Caesars palace. $2500. I was worried about booking a wedding on the net but it was so well organzied it was untrue. And booked the hoilday 2 weeks for 800 quid each. 14 of us went.
Not quite the best place for such young kid's i'd say tho.
    But it was fantastic.

I got married in paphos cyprus,
stayed at the atehna beach hotel 4*
was married at St Goerges church ( The one that was featured on GMTV )

we booked it through thomas cook and they took care of everything, we met wedding planner the day we arrived and she organised it all,
she basically told us what we had to do, when, and where. she even arranged for a taxi to take us to the town hall to get the marriage licence a couple of days before the wedding.

where ever you decide just make sure you check all the details, some places require you to be in the country 7 days before you are married,
(paphos only required 4 days. (i think greece is 7 days))

i would recommend you book it through a travel agent like thomas cook who will do everything for you.

    Good Luck!
