Cdc40 Mp3

Does anybody know for definite when the MP3 capability was added to the CDC40? I thought it was MY2008, but it's listed in the Feb 2007 brochure.

Are there any markings on the unit to indicate if it is MP3 compatible?

I would have thought so. My Cd70 has MP3 written on the front panel. Also, if it's like my CD70, then depending on whether a CD or an MP3 burnt CDR is in the unit, either the word CD or MP3 will be greyed out on the display.

Took delivery of my car in May 2007 with a CDC40 and can't get any MP3 disks to work, just says "Invalid Disk"

I think there is a CDC40 MP3 as it is specifically mentioned for the current Astra

edit. Sorry, I thought it did, but it doesn't. Greyed out wording in the display still aplies to my previous post though.

Looking at the Spec. for the CD70 it looks like from September 2007 VX added the Aux. input.

You are proberbly spot on,i had forgot about the Aux input.I would have thought Parkers would have kept the list up to date
