    Default Reclaiming Tax

I'm still on the Emergency Tax code and being deducted more tax than i should be.

I heard you can reclaim overpayments but do you contact your local tax office?

When i had it 2 years ago, they just put it into my wages, i ended up with about £1100 one week.. oher times they just adjust the amount of tax you pay over the year to compensate form it..
I think it depends on how much you have owed to you, as to how they do it.

have you handed on your old P45 Tam from your old employer?...

Mrs GSi says that if you're on BR tax code you can fill in a P46 to get put on week1 tax... ( she's a payroll guru ) and that once your taxcode is amended( after your new employer has had your P45) you'll get all overdeductions back via your wages in one lumpsum...direct from your employer

Sounds like an employer to avoid!
Making sure your employees tax is correct, it is one of the reasons why people resign
You can also confirm with the Tax Office that deals with that employer that they have issued a new tax Code to them, and if that is the case, give them the payroll office Fax Number
Allow one day, and then get in contact with your employers payroll to confirm they have received it and it will be applied at the next round of payslips

However, I recall giving you this advice a few weeks ago
