Knocking Noise from Front

Fitted new suspension all round, B4's and H&R springs. Now have a knocking noise which is mostly drivers side, but is coming from both at times. Springseat mod is fitted so only thing I can think of is anti-roll bar links and bushes or maybe put some grease in the seat pan. It was fine then we tightened the top strut bolt and it started.

Any further ideas? Were gonna look at it later on and see where the noise is coming from.

Checked that the strut has set properly at the top and there fine, gonna get it on a ramp tomorrow and check the anti-roll bar link and bushes.

sounds like the drop links maybe were on their last legs and loosening them off done the rest of the damage

Hopin so mate either that or it's maybe not set back in the original position and thats causing the noise.

Changed Anti-roll bar links and that solved nothing, after getting the wheels aligned the fella that took it for a drive after said it sounded like the top strut bearings. We had stripped the suspension before and the bearings seamed OK, but obviously once under load they weren't so the bearings were changed and the noise is now gone. Only problem was trying to save all the camber settings etc. so the hub had to come off as well so it was slightly mors work, but all sorted now
