    Unhappy Failing to sell Signum

Have had my Signum advertised on Autotrader for the last week and had only one call and a very insulting texted offer, quite surprised I thought there would be more people in the market for a 16 month old 150 diesel Design that has done only 11000 miles, have it advertised for nearest offers to £11000. When I bought it last year there were hardly any for sale it now seems there are quite a few and the prices have come down quickly, however think I am advertising it at a good price, starting to think it won't sell.

Any ideas, is the price wrong?

07 one at Perrys for 12.5k, no one will give you near dealer price for it because of the back up side of things, which shouldn't really matter as VX still have to repair it for the next 2 yrs foc, but ppl still prefer the safety of a dealer, without wishing to upset you I think you will need to lower it to say £10250, and be prepared to take £9500 on it.

Don't think you're far off with the price mate considering what kit you've got on it http://www.wisebuyers.co.uk/index.js...ge=11&x=38&y=7

    Unhappy Ouch!

Thanks for the feedback, think I better lower the price then, may try £10500 or nearest offer, can't believe it, this is bad enough but if I had bought the car new I would be devestated.

Thats why most of us buy second hand.

My VXR should have been around £28.5k new with all the extras that it has on it !!!

I paid £16.5k with only 2000 miles on it. Thats a saving of £12,000 !!!! Thats a loss of £6 (in depreciation alone) for every mile driven !!

    Default VXR Bargain

You got a bargain there Spoons, I test drove a VXR Monaro a couple of weeks ago, the 6.0 litre version. I was very impressed by the torque and solidity of the car but the offset driving position and slightly dated interior put me off and it was far too quiet, really needed the Wortec exhaust to make it sing. Have thought about getting an older 5.7 and taking it to Wortec but under 20 MPG seems too big a price to pay and the insurance is so much more expensive than any Astra or Vectra VXR.
