    Default Design soft ride

    Hi VX drivers,
Please help me with a soft ride problem on my (56) Design 1.9CDTI 150 Estate. It suffers from the "Boaty ride" feel that other drivers have mentioned. I use mine as a Taxi in Torquay, so I need a good ride, what with all the hills and lanes etc! I do a lot of motorway as well.
Reading other posts, it seems the problem is the Dampers, not the coil springs. What would be the best thing for me to do, a decent set of Bilstein sport dampers on the rear as someone else mentioned ? or do I have to change all four? I still need a comfortable ride for my customers, will it feel like the SRI for example?
Any information will be helpful, part numbers/links to sites etc!

    Simon
    (sorry about the essay)

it won't handle quite like an SRi, but Bilstiens will definatly help..they are much better than the standard VX dampers..Try one of our approved traders LMF ( in the approved traders section ) will sell you a set..

2 or 4 dampers?.. the rears will help the bouncy feeling and lazy cornering.. but changing the fronts as well will also help no end..

Just a note to say be careful if only changing two shocks if you are changing brand, personally I would advise against this.
You can never be entirely sure how mixing dampers would affect the handling, it could, potentially, be dangerous. It may cause unexpected handling characteristics.
If you fit any kind of upgraded dampers (or springs) do them as a set of four, not just one end.

I love the handling of the SRi, I too often take it for granted that all vecs handle the same.

    2.2 Direct SRi
