    Default damaged air con compressor

    Hi does anyone know if the condenser is covered by network q warranty.Wife hit a pheasant today and it pushed centre lower grill into condenser damaging condenser, but air con does still work.

    Cant see it being covered if its damaged by hitting something mate

    it is covered under networkQ, BUT..as it is accident damage it will have to come off your car insurance.. networkQ won't approve any repair as it's not VX's fault..

    Damaged mine a while back. VX quoted £500 to replace.............

    Sourced a new one from this company....http://www.adrad.co.uk/new/catalogue...?make=VAUXHALL
    Fitted it myself and got a local garage to recharge it.

    If your is still working then you need a garage to remove the gas as its illegal to vent into the atmosphere. Easy fitting remove bumper, bolt top and bottom and remove.

    That was the reason I found this site and its cost me hundreds since then......

    Why replace the condensor if its only damaged? as long as its not leaking or causing problems, why fix it???
    Now I need a turbo to keep up!

    Hre is a pic of my damaged condenser . i have sprayed leak detector on it when air con is on and no leaks and condenser is getting warm as it should so i wiil leave it and hope it does not leak.

    Nothing wrong with that condenser. Just need some dead flies and it would be perfect.
