Default Map reading lights - Buttons wrong??

Is it me or are two of the buttons the wrong way around on the map reading lights?

If you look at the two middle buttons, you have the normal graphic that's on the normal lights (the one that looks like the sun) and one that looks like a power switch.

On mine if I press the power one the light goes on/off, and if I press the other one it stops the light coming on when the doors open.

To me these are the wrong way around... has anyone else noticed this or is it just me (or maybe I have a reject unit)?

On my car the sun switch one is a blank and with respect to your picture, there is nothing wrong.

If you sit in the driver seat, in order of buttons going towards the passenger it should be:

Driver reading switch, sun switch, On/off and passenger reading switch.

It's not the order of the buttons, it's more how they work.

LOL, yes mine are the wrong way round. The outer buttons do as they should but the two middle ones do the other one job.

good to hear it's not just me, anyho, got fed up with mine and swapped them around

If you want to do this (NOTE this very fiddly):

    1) Remove the unit
    2) Using a small screwdriver prise the buttons out gently (ensure you don't loose any of the two metal bits inside the button).
    3) Using the screwdriver, remove the plastic covers of the buttons so you're just left with the black bit
    4) Insert both black pieces back into the unit keeping them upright as you do it.
    5) You should notice there are guide holes at the sides of the button holes for the covers to slide into. You made need to break off one of the sides of the tabs on the button covers for them to fit back into when you swap the buttons around, you wont see this when they are back)

Yours is the standard upgrade mate. The one with the 4 buttons is the police spec upgrade.
