    this may sound dumb... but given it's a V6, shouldn't the block be sitting in line length ways ? it's been a long day, so I probably am just being dumb...

    All Vectra's are transverse mounted mate, like most cars now besides the likes of BMW and Merc who still use longtudinal (sp?) mounted engines to drive the rear wheels

    hehe, I was confused when I saw that the V6 engine in the Jag X type is transverse too even though it's four wheel drive LOL
