    Default LED Sidelights

now that the HID's are in... the sidelights look shocking and need changed ASAP....

however... do the LED sidelights have the same issues as fitting HID's, where you need the resistor block to stop it thinking a bulb is out, as the LED's are sure to be much lower resistance ?

Any recommendations.. and i don't want to spend stupid amounts on LED sidelights.... and they have to be white.. i got blue ones chucked in with the HID's but didn't want them in it...

Yes mate, just normal lights. Have tried taking a photo of them but couldn't get it to come out properly. Quite a few people on here have got them and they're the best you can get that aren't LED...

OK, since you've got them, should be able to answer... are they actually white, or just a brighter yellow ?

Fitted Mtec LED sidelight bulbs yesterday along with Mtec xenon dips, they are physically blue but light up a very, very cooool ice blue/white & compliment the dip beams perfectly & dont bring up a bulb failure warning.(at least not yet, after 10 hours use.........shhhhhhhh !) About a tenner the pair from Mtec.........you wont be disapointed ! On a similar note, anyone thinking of upgrading their dip beams, dont faff about with 90% bulb upgrades, etc,go for the jugular & get a proper xenon kit, I have only tried the Mtec kit but they are the mutt's nuts !

I've got MTEC 501 sidelights in mine m8.

And yes, they look blue in the packet but as others have said, they light up a nice crisp ice white when fitted and compliment the HID's I've got fitted in mine perfectly.

I've posted pics on the forums before of mine, I'll see if I can dig one up and post back.
