Vectra DTI Using 5ltrs oil in 30 miles

hello iv got a vectra b saloon 99reg 2.0 dti and it is using all engine oil content in no time at all and when i went to change fuel filter it was full of black dirty engine oil also when driving goes to conk sometimes at certain revs this probs due to amount of oil in diesel any ideas??

First things first stop driving it immediately!

As for what the problem is i dont know, but if you are ending up with Oil in the Fuel filter, something is pretty wrong i'd say.

Fuel pump seals? There is a thread on here some where i am sure.

You are putting the oil in the engine and not the fuel tank, right? That's the hole on the top of the engine, not where the fuel goes in. Because there is no other way oil can get in the filter.
