I have changed both front airbags and also seat belt tighteners. And of course airbag unit (SRS). Then tech 2 treatment. Thats all folks.
i can help with the seat ones mate
not far from north wales, give me a shout when you want to do it
for the seat airbag you need to remove the material off the top part of the seat by pulling out the little metal rings dotted around the seat holding the material to the foam just enough to l et you at the foam around the airbag push the foam away so you can see the bolts holding the airbag onto the frame of the seat remove those and put new bag in dont forget to reconnect the electric cable into the new bag them just redo the metal rings back on to the foam
for the roof airbag you would need take off the side trims that run along each inner post ocne you remove them you should be able to move the roof cloth enough to allow you to get at the fixing bolts remove them replace airbag and recconnect electric cable
hope this helps
i stand corrected i made the mistake of thinking the vectra was the same as every other car
but as you seem to be the man to ask i have developed a sqeak in the drivers seat any ideas on how to fix it
any more info where the squeak it coming from?
top part or bottom, front or back, just get a big can of wd40 and go to town lol
it sounds like its coming from where the top and bottom of the seat join or tilt think the previous owner may have been a big guy sounds like the seat has stressed then again it could be me whos done the damage but i think it was there when i got the car lol
ok will have a look tomorrow to dark to start taking my seats apart lol
