    Sorry to go on but is there absoulute no way this will work , what if i ask vx to upgrade the ecu soft ware , why would the loom be there and accept the button , suppose the car was new and i decided after a few weeks i wanted T/C ,
    i dont get it especially it being an elite with all the toys

    M8, there are a few people that seem to be confused here. The switch does NOT give you traction control, unless it is a facelift or a 1.8 it will have T/C. The switch just turns it OFF!!!

    i understand what you mean , it does have traction control as ive seen the symbol on the clocks when i boot it , i just dont understand why it wont turn off when the loom is there

    The fact that the button lights up does not mean that the loom is present and there is no software solution for it: the cable to the ABS control unit (pin 3) will be missing
