right.. a remap is the LAST modification you do to your car to improve it's performance.. If you want to cahnge the exhaust or change the air filter for a 'sports' one, nows the time to do it.. then when it's in the state you are going to leave it at, get it remapped...

When it gets mapped, it should also get rolling roaded...so i'd service it anyway as it's going to get a pasting... ( for the record my wifes 3.2V6 signum is mapped and acheived 240BHP@178mph on the rollers at REGAL and thats revving to 7500rpm)..

The most important thing is not to use poor quality fuel after the remap as this can destroy the engine through detination. If you do have to put in poor fuel because you are stuck, just put in what you need and drive at low revs until you can get more good stuff in it.

A remap would be the last call if it were custom but if you are going to somewhere like Regal, it won't matter when you have it done in the process because they use the same map for all the 3.2s they do.

Tuning company based in Southampton, well established but some people on here have had unfortunate experiences with their aftersales service. Personally, I haven't had a problem with them, but you might want to check with J13 HDB, he had the 3.2 remap and wasn't happy

And it only takes about an hour to do - 5 mins to upload the standard Vx map, then they email it to EDS, who send back the new map, then 5 mins to load it back onto the car.

    How hard was this?

Have been thinking of having a go when I do the plugs.

And Is it worth doing the Exhaust ones?
    Thanks
