guys i was cleaning my wheels at the weekend and i have a facelift sri. now all was going well until i came to jack up the last corner and the peice that is under the car that the jack locates into was missing

and i couldnt jack it up so i got it ordered asap only £3 but without it i couldnt have jacked up the car in the case of a flat tyre. so its worth havin a quick look

im all sorted now

You mean the little rectangular piece of plastic?

yea. on mine one was missing. as i said glad i found out now instead of in an emergency so worth a quick check

This piece of plastic where is it located? and what does it look like.

on the sri (dont know if same on others) there is a small arrow on the skirt. if you place our hand under where the arrow is you can feel a square shape where the top of the jack locates into to stop it moving and also makes sure you put it in the right place. mine was missing on one side so there was only a oval hole where it was ment to be so i ordered it asap and was here 3 days l8r. so glad when it turned up

On mine there is a square box section about 50/60 m/m square that is where I put the trolly jack, There is no plastic "bung" in any of them, so I put a piece of wood on top of the jack so it would not mark the car. Looks like I will have to make four caps at work then.
