    To be on the safe side you have to do a pressure test to "see" if there is any coolant lose. On the other hand it could be caused by a leak somewhere on the system no always too visible...as in here
    http://forum.vectra-c.com/showthread...ant+leak+found
    or its evaporating through the cap of the expansion tank....just a couple of ideas to get you started HTH

    It might leak onto some where that is warm/hot so it evaporates before you can see it.. Look and see if you can see a white "ish" stain from some where that it might have leaked from.

    Do you need to top up coolant water bottle, if it is leaking you will need to top up.

    As for tyres get your tracking checked, if your pressures are correct.

    Thanks lads, I'll have a look. Funny things is I've only had to fill up once in over a year. Running temp hits between 80 and 100 max when idle after a 10-15 mins.

    How much would a pressure test cost?

    Regards the tyres can the rear's be tracked? I thought only the front are done? Sorry if this is a dumb question....

    I've just found a small leak in my radiator. Couldn't see any evidence of a leak anywhere but the car was losing about half a pint a day on a run.
    Only found the leak as it was damned cold yesterday and saw steam rising from the rad engine side.
    Radweld = job done!
    Good luck.

    Tracking can be done on both front and back, think the system is called "super tracker" though it can be expensive.
