    Default BSR Tuning Systems

I have to lay praise to Duncan when he goes on about his BSR re-map. I have just bought one for the Astra and am Gob smacked by the result.

A totally reversable system, like Superchips Bluefin, easy to use and the on road performance is far better than EDS, which I have experienced in both Astra and Vectra.

Steve at LMF sorted me out with a 3 day delivery!!

    Its great is'nt it.

Its transformed my auto into a flying machine yet on the motorway I get better mpg.

Your car will give a astar vxr a run for its money now, look at this http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Zo987X-Au48

If rumours are to be believed that race was 'fixed' just a little.

mmmmm, That Astra had the full Milltek exhaust system which is proven to give anywhere between 10 and 15bhp extra, so in theory that Astra VXR was close to 250bhp.

Still, no wash over by the VXR, I think it would be enough to **** off the VXR owner.

But, I still would have a VXR if I was not doing the miles!!

It would have obliterated the T9 if it was an out & out race, to be told what revs you are doing and what gear to be in isn`t a fair comparison tbh ...

Having driven a vxr for a year, then a "performance deisel" the petrol wins hands down, not taking anything away from diesel power but torque aint everything, you need power as well and more importantly revs !!

This is a graph from a Standard FR170 ... Shows it has about the same power as a T8 but no way would I try to take a vxr with it ..
